If I were Blind
I have oft reflected on this subject subconsciously and had a nag to write but a few thoughts on it. Closure of one's eye seems to open one's eyes of imagination. It so happened one of the days passed I turned off the light in my room and the whole room was painted with darkness or with a completely black shade. Though my eyes remained open, I still could not see anything. I closed my eyes and could not see anything in the absence of light. I thus wondered to myself what if I were blind, what would my perspective of the world be like. How will I envision the world to be like? I came to the realization that people who are blind might not have their sight but their eye of imagination is enlarged. They see a world were others have not had the liberty to tap into. Though I walk through the shadows of death, I fear no evil for the Lord is my light. Though I will be blind, my sight is envisioned and enlarged through the light of Christ and his lenses of the gospel of our Master... Thou they have eyes, but they refuse to see. If their minds were not closed, they might see with their eyes.
If I were blind I could see.
