The Rhythm of Love

 Smooth and drizzling is the amazing tempo of such a beautiful masterpiece. I have witnessed its symbiotic curation which has been good food to the ears. They say it takes two to tango. However, this melody has been quite an adventure and a mystery at the same time to both of us. We have loved it, played it, and savored the tastes of our very own compositions. There have been many times I have played on key and many(er) times I have seemed to play off-key. Such times have caused disharmony uncoordinated performance and disgruntlement from both seasoned musicians. Yet we play together with such sacrifice and energy, we realised that the stage is set for us. There are many instruments (of life) needing to be played and incorporated into our melodies.  The Violin(educano), Drums(of the future), and Mbira(of eternity) amongst others. Our melody has been truly a masterpiece with all the high tones and also the low tones at times. We have felt like stopping the music at times but have decided to play on ofttimes. Whether this melody continues till eternity or adjourns eventually will depend upon our belief and faith that our melody will summon miracles through our efforts. 

.What is love? Love is but a rhythm of a melody so sweet and bitter at times. The melody can be heard echoing through the eternities.

Journal Entry 27 June 2022 - The characters depicted in this entry are of Felix the author himself and his girlfriend from Kenya. Having met and started dating online, their love has been more of an orchestra with highs and lows described therein. They still envisioned getting married together and continue with their melody.
