Salt-Lake-City Temple Closure

The Salt-Lake-City Temple a beacon for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was announced for closure during the November 2019 Semi-Annual General Conference. This announcement came at the very same time when BYU Pathway Worldwide was launched in Zimbabwe. It was mentioned  that it will be closed from 2020-2024 if I am not mistaken.  This was referred to as a time of renewal for the Temple and this will be a time to make important renovations which will enable the Temple to stand till the Millennial reign of the Saviour. 

Some of these renovations will include application of some new technologies in the foundation of the temple amongst other uplifts. This type of renovation of the Salt-Lake-Temple and other similar like temples have been likened unto ourselves ,that we also need to take time to renovate our lives . 

Indeed this resonated very well with me and as such as of 2020-2024 I have pledged and committed myself to renovate and renew myself. This invitation is extended to everyone.This year 2020, I began with the Pathway Connect program which I believe has helped me lay a sure solid foundation for my spiritual and circular temple. In the coming years I will thus add building blocks to that foundation by seeking wisdom and knowledge even by study and by faith . Each year will add the following certifications to my circular study : Computer Programming , Computer Support and Systems Administration which will lead me towards  Associate and Bsc Degree in Applied Technology . This will also be a time of spiritual renewal for me as eluded, this will all finish in time with the re-opening of the Salt-Lake-City Temple.

I do pray that we may all continue to realise the hand of the Lord in our lives,his tender-mercies and goodness in our lives. May we all take time to renovate our lives.
